Process — no ghosting

You see working software take shape every day.

Four steps, clear milestones. We push progress every day, so if we're ever off track you'll see it in days — not at the end.

  1. Day 0

    Discovery & fixed scope

We pin down exactly what ships. You get a fixed price and a fixed date before you pay for a single line of code.

  2. Days 1–3

    Design & prototype

A clickable prototype so you see and click the real thing before we build it. Change your mind now — it's cheap now.

  3. Days 4–12

    Build, pushed daily

New changes land in your build every day — real progress you can click, not status decks or “it's almost done.”

  4. Days 13–15

    Launch + handover

We ship to production and hand over the keys: repo, accounts, docs, and a walkthrough. It's yours to run or grow.

Pricing — no forms, no “contact us”

Two fixed prices. One custom plan.

Every competitor hides these numbers behind a “request a quote.” Here they are. If one fits your budget, we can talk about scope — not the other way around. And if neither fits, we'll shape a plan that does.

Who you'll actually work with

Who you'll actually work with

“I started MVPHatch because I watched too many founders get burned the same way: a $50k quote, a six-month timeline that becomes ten, weekly calls with nothing to click, and an invoice that keeps growing.”

I've been on both sides of that table — over a decade as a senior engineer, and a founder myself. So I do the opposite: fixed price, senior engineers only, a date in the contract, and new changes pushed to your build every day. I take on a small number of clients at a time — so the person building your product is the person you talk to, not a project manager forwarding your emails to an offshore team you'll never meet.

If that's the partner you want, book a call. If you just want an honest second opinion on an AI build that's falling over, send it — the audit's free.

The AI-build question

“Can't I just build this with Lovable or Bolt?”

Honestly? For a prototype — yes, and you should. We use the same AI tools; they're how we build faster and quote a fraction of what the $50k shops charge. But AI-generated code that touches real users, real payments and real data is a different animal. The demo that wowed you on Friday is the thing that leaks customer data in month two.

Great for
  • Clickable prototypes to test a flow
  • Showing an investor the idea
  • Throwaway demos, moving fast on UI
  • Founders learning what they want
Dangerous in production
  • Auth & security holes you can't see
  • Data models that break at 500 users
  • No tests, secrets shipped to the browser
  • Spaghetti no next engineer can extend
Where we come in

We build with AI too — then senior engineers make it production-grade: real auth, sane data models, tests, and code your next hire can actually read.

In writing, not just talk

We don't ask you to trust us — we put it in the contract.

We've spent over a decade shipping production software — and we've been founders ourselves. Still, promises are cheap, so here are three we put in the contract — not just on a landing page.

A delivery date in writing

Your launch date goes in the contract, and we push progress every day — so a slip shows up in days, not at the end. A deadline, not an estimate.

You own 100% of the code

Your repo, your cloud accounts, your IP — from day one, with full handover docs. No lock-in, no hostage code, no “our proprietary platform.”

Milestone payments, never one big upfront

You pay as work lands and is tied to something you can see and use. No $20k wire into a black box before anything exists.

After launch

The part nobody quotes — here it is anyway.

Most agencies go quiet the day the invoice clears. So you don't have to ask: here's exactly what happens after day 15.

Maintenance retainer

from $1,500/mo

Optional. Bug fixes, small changes, dependency updates, and monitoring. Month-to-month — cancel anytime.

Response-time SLA

crit < 4 hrs

Critical issues responded to within 4 business hours; everything else within 2 business days. In writing, on retainer plans.

No retainer? Also fine.

$0

You own the code and the docs. Take it in-house or to any team — you're never trapped with us to keep it running.

Free code audit

Got an AI build that's breaking? Send it over.

Paste a repo or a live link and tell us what's going wrong. You'll get a straight, no-pitch assessment of what's salvageable and what it'd cost to make it production-ready. No obligation, no sales sequence.

  • Honest verdict, usually within 2 business days
  • A fixed price to fix or rebuild, if you want one
  • We'll tell you if you don't need us

No spam, no sales sequence. We reply once, like a human.

FAQ

Straight answers, real numbers.

How much does MVP development cost?

Fixed prices, shown up front: a 5-day Discovery Sprint is $6,000 — 100% credited toward your build — and a 15-day production-ready Core MVP is $15,000. Bigger or unusual scope? We shape a custom plan — priced after a scoping call, then fixed in writing. Either way, you get the exact number and scope in writing before you pay for any code.

How does the Discovery Sprint credit work?

The sprint costs $6,000. Start any build with us — Core MVP or custom — within 60 days and the full amount comes off the price, so a Core MVP still totals $15,000. If you decide not to build, you keep everything the sprint produced: the prototype, the fixed scope and quote, and the risk map.

How long does it take?

A Core MVP is live in 15 days. A Discovery Sprint takes 5 days; custom builds get their own timeline, agreed before we start. Your delivery date goes in the contract — it's a commitment, not a rough guess.

What if you miss the deadline?

The launch date is written into the contract, and you pay per milestone — so you never pay for work that hasn't landed. We also push progress every day, so if anything slips you'll know early, not at the end.

Do I own the code?

Yes — 100%, from day one. Your repository, your cloud accounts, your IP, plus full handover documentation. No lock-in and no hostage code. If you ever want to take it to another team, you can walk out the door with everything.

Can you rescue a broken AI-built or half-finished app?

Often, yes. Send a link to your repo or live app for a free code audit. We'll tell you honestly what's salvageable, what needs rebuilding for production, and a fixed price to get there. Sometimes the fastest path is a partial rebuild — we'll say so rather than bill you to prop up a shaky base.

What tech stack do you use?

Boring, proven, hireable tools: typically TypeScript with React or React Native, a Node backend, and Postgres, on managed infrastructure. We pick the stack your future engineers can actually maintain — not whatever's trending this month.

Only 2 client spots left this quarter

Your MVP, live in 15 days. Price and date in writing.

We keep the client list short, so only a few build spots open up each quarter. If your idea's ready, let's put a real date on it.
